Big Dutchman Southern Africa is proud to present one of our most innovative turnkey piggery projects — a 600 sow unit designed as a complete farrow-to-finisher system. This project showcases the very best in modern pig production, with technology and infrastructure tailored to ensure efficiency, animal welfare, and long-term sustainability.
The facility is fully environmentally controlled, with mating and farrowing houses equipped with combi–tunnel ventilation and Rainmaker cooling pads to provide optimal conditions throughout the production cycle. Feeding is fully automated, ensuring precision and consistency, while each building is managed by a 307 Pro Smart Computer for advanced control of both the environment and feed distribution.
